AZ MUSIC

Founded in 2016 in Montreal by Anthony Zappavigna, AZ Music is a recording studio built on a simple belief: great records come from the meeting of great talent and great tools. From day one, the studio has been a home for artists who take their craft seriously, and a space where ideas turn into finished, release-ready music.

Over the years, AZ Music has had the privilege of working with some of Montreal's most respected artists. Those collaborations have spanned everything from production to mixing, and the results speak for themselves — the studio's credits now total more than 20 million streams, with a strong track record on radio worldwide.

Sound quality starts with the signal chain, and AZ Music doesn't cut corners. The studio is equipped with a Neumann U87 microphone running through Neve preamps and compression, monitored on Barefoot and Yamaha reference monitors for translation you can trust. A deep library of plugins is available for any session, alongside a full complement of instruments, electric and acoustic guitars, and an Arturia KeyLab 88 with a real-feel touch that piano players actually enjoy playing.
